THE SAVIOR IS WAITING

Lovingly, tenderly, sweetly,
The Lord is calling to you;
Wanting to hold you and give you
A heart cleansed from sin, and brand new.

Pleadingly, softly, and kindly,
He longs to live in your heart;
Holding you close with a promise
That He will never depart.

Faithfully, soothingly, warmly,
He answers whenever you call;
Offering peace and contentment,
And guiding your steps lest you fall.

Helpfully, constantly, gently,
He heals, He forgives, He's your friend;
Waiting to take you to Heaven
Where life, filled with joy, has no end.
